FAQ
How do I book with the group rate?
Visit our where to stay page for booking links and more information about each hotel. Note that the discounted rates expire on August 27.
What time should I arrive?
Please join us at 4:30p for drinks and mingling followed promptly by our ceremony and dinner, before we move on to the after-party for a night full of music and dancing.
Can I bring a plus one?
We’re keeping the ceremony and dinner small and intimate, but we’d love for you to bring your guest to join us at the after-party and celebrate together.
Which airport should I fly into?
LaGuardia Airport (LGA) is closest to the venue and generally most convenient for catching a car to Manhattan or parts of Brooklyn. If you’d prefer public transit, JFK Airport is a better option, with its AirTrain and easy access to the A/C train. You can tap your phone or credit card to pay to get on the subway, but keep in mind it can be difficult to navigate with luggage.
We generally wouldn’t recommend flying into Newark, Westchester or Long Island unless you find an amazing deal and are comfortable using various trains to get to NYC.
Can I stay in Brooklyn?
Yes! Many parts of Brooklyn are easily accessible to Manhattan via a $2.90 one-way subway ride. Google Maps has a transit option that shows you MTA routes and train times. Otherwise, Uber and Lyft are very reliable and might run you $40-60 dollars one way.
If you’re considering staying in Brooklyn, we’d recommend keeping the train ride under an hour and the Uber under 30 minutes. Some neighborhoods in Brooklyn we’d recommend are Bed-Stuy, Crown Heights, Brooklyn Heights / Downtown Brooklyn / Dumbo, and Bushwick.
Another budget-friendly option could be to stay in Manhattan, but go uptown. If you’re not concerned with hustle and bustle, there are sometimes hotel deals in the busy Times Square area. There may also be deals for hotels or Airbnbs in the Harlem area. If you’re looking uptown, we’d recommend staying below 145th Street.
Are you accepting gifts?
Celebrating with you in New York City means the world to us. Your presence is truly our greatest gift and you don’t need to do anything other than show up. If you still wish to mark the occasion with something more, we’ve put together a small registry of moments to remember and things to enjoy.
